Job Responsibilities:

We’re looking for a driven, reliable, and experienced Clinical Specialist Manager to supervise other Clinical Specialists and provide technical, educational, operational and sales support to assist their region in meeting sales and patient service objectives. General Description and Duties:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential task satisfactorily. The tasks listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job effectively.

  • Dedicates the majority of their time supervising other Clinical Specialists and working alongside other Clinical Specialist Managers to facilitate case coverage on a regional and national scale.
  • Supervises and guides other Clinical Specialists by imparting knowledge, sharing expertise, and offering feedback and direction. This includes facilitating field observations together as well as executing bi-annual performance appraisals.
  • Leads, arranges, and supervises the activities of the Clinical Specialist team, which is accomplished through approaches like field observations, 1:1 meetings with individual Clinical Specialists, and team meetings.
  • Partners with Area Directors and Territory Managers to learn market dynamics and local customer motivations and needs.
  • Supports the development of team strategies to align and achieve key customer business objectives as well as supporting corporate initiatives.
  • Collaborates with the sales organization to strategize and execute training sessions for physicians and their supporting staff.
  • Participates in and provides support to the clinical team during New Hire Training.
  • Aligns with Medical Education/Marketing to instruct and implement best practices and promotional trends.
  • Establishes, develops, and maintains positive business and customer relationships.
  • Has a thorough understanding of how Axonics products and solutions offer value to patients and customers.
  • Anticipates, identifies, and implements solutions to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Ensures Clinical Specialist team promptly completes assigned training modules.
  • Authorizes expense reports and requests for time off for the clinical team.

Projects and Other Duties:

  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Position Qualifications

  • Prior experience and proven track record as a Clinical Specialist, preferably in the Neuromodulation space.
  • Proven and successful track record with Axonics; proven leadership skills.
  • Previous people management experience is a plus.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and processes with ease.
  • Knowledge and experience working in an OR.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% with 25% overnight travel.

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

Minimum Experience:

  • 5+ years of Clinical experience in the Medical Device industry.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $150,000 (plus bonus).
The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
